Stair Master Workout

I often use the StairMaster for my cardio. Typically I go for 45 minutes AFTER my regular 1-hour HIIT workout. I step at highest level which is 162 steps per minute which would convert to 7290 steps (162* 45 min).

I don't believe these workouts are tracked AT ALL! I understand the FitBit will not calculate this exercise as steps climbed because I am not increasing altitude on a stairmaster, but it should at least calculate  as steps walked. Additionally calories are not tracked for this exercise either!! I burn 1112 calories when I do this workout according the the stairmaster!

It's great to see you around @WandaWoman. Have you tried to manually log this activity? If you haven't, I recommend manually log it by doing the following from a computer:

1. Go to the Activities page by clicking Log at the top of your dashboard, then click Activities.
2. Under Log Activities, click a common activity or search for your activity in the search box.
3. Select your activity from the search results. If the activity is not in our system, you have the option to create your own activity by clicking the Create custom activity text that will appear below the search field.
4. Enter the duration, distance (if applicable), and start time of your activity. You have the option to manually enter the number of calories burned here if you'd like to.
5. Click Log Activity. Your activity will now be visible and editable in the Logged Activities area.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Woman Happy
