Step count questions

Will someone tell me why my blaze is counting steps even when I don't have it on? Today I put on my blaze for the 1st time since yesterday and it said I had walked 14 steps. How is this possible when I didn't even have the tracker on me. Also, I noticed right after that it went from 14 steps to 250 and I barely even moved. This is so inaccurate. Feeling frustrated

We would need more information.

Where was the blaze sitting? Do people bump it?

How sturdy is the floor? Does it go up and down when people walk across it

Do you have more than one fitbit attached to your account? If so a sync cycle will try and sync up all trackers and the same step count will show on all.

Was there a fan turned on, and on the same table with the blaze?

Basically could it have been bouncing or moving up or down?
