@Aquon i suggest taking your other tracker, setting it up to a second fitbit account.. Now k friend the two accounts and watch the leaderboard.. I think you will be pleasantly surprised.

While my travelers seem to be accurate while walking, last night i wore 4 trackers, charge HR, Surge, Blaze, and the Charge 2 the reported step Surge the lowest at 1980 steps and the Charge at the top with 2029.

Now during my daily activity i found the step counts to vary wildly, probably because my movements are not as predictable. Even do the tea let's stay fairly close over the course of the 7 days and sometimes switch leaders with every sync. My test was done with the Charge, Charge HR, Surge, and the One clipped to the waist.

@Aquon, I had the same problem. I'm still testing. I would try to walk about 20 -25 steps and mark the beginning and ending of your steps. I would do this around 5 times to get your average stride. Once you got your stride get a tape measure and measure how many inches between your mark and divide it by 3. This will give you your stride. For example if your measurement was 75 inches divided by 3 your stride will be 25. After setting my stride I drove my car around my neighborhood and marked every half mile for 3 miles. After that I set my blaze to run mode and walk the 3 miles. I would count my steps and check my blaze after each 100 steps and I would check the mile mark at each half mile. I'm close to adjusting the mile mark and the steps are 99%. To set your stride go to your Fitbit account and go to advance setting under advance setting go to stride length. Under stride length turn off set automatically. Click on walking and set your stride length. The blaze profile set my stride at 29.7. I reset it to 25. So far it's on target for both miles and steps. Hope this helps
