Hi,
I have noticed some very frustrating behaviour with my Blaze when it comes to recording steps and I have only really noticed this since taking part in a step challenge at work. I have looked at all the posts in here and tried all the suggestions without any luck i.e. switching the watch on and off, trying to swing my arm more etc etc. To be honest here I don't really see why I should have to completely exaggerate my walking style just for it to pick up steps, I would say I have a pretty normal walking style as it is.
Today I ran 3 tests walking 100 steps each time and it returned 55, 74 and 83 steps per 100. So at the very best I am getting 83% of my steps counted and at worse 55%. So to get my 10,000 daily steps I actually have to put in at least 17% extra. Very frustrating.
Any ideas?

It's very irritating indeed.

This is the same issue I'm having. I walked 1/2 mile and it didn't record my steps.

I have noticed that my Charge 2 is totally overcounting steps. I have a hip counter and compared them the last 2 days. Charge 2 is around 3800 steps off. I know the hip is more accurate because I know that I have not gotten close to the 10,000 steps each day, but the Charge 2 has put me over 10,000 both times. I am very disappointed.
