Just got my blaze, plugged it in and now it goes to 3/4 updated and back to half in a never ending loop, it won't even let me restart it

A warm welcome to the Community @CDiggity98. I would like to know if you were able to update your tracker? If you keep having problems, I recommend restarting your Fitbit. After the restart procedure, follow the instructions provided in the How do I update my tracker's firmware? post. You can also, try the setup procedure one more time.

I have the exact same problem. Was able to pair to my phone, but it is now stuck in the update loop. I am unable to restart it as holding the buttons down does not do anything at all except restart the loop to midway. The Blaze has been stuck in the loop for over an hour now.

Same exact problem.  It goes from half updated to 3/4 then back again.  This is the only screen that the blaze will go on and restarting it does nothing.

It's great to see you around @LenD and to welcome you @N4simps.

I would like to know if you keep having inconveniences updating your trackers? If you do, I recommend checking if the phones you are using are compatible mobile devices, then perform the restart procedure a couple of times more and finally confirm you are doing the following to update your trackers:

  1. Verify that the latest version of the Fitbit app is installed on your device.
  2. With your charged tracker nearby, open the Fitbit app.
  3. Tap or click the Account icon.
  4. Tap or click your tracker tile.
  5. Tap or click the pink Update Tracker button. You'll only see an option to update your tracker if updates are available.
  6. Follow the prompts onscreen and keep the tracker close to the mobile device during the update. If the update is slow, don't remove your tracker from your account as a troubleshooting measure.
