Stuck on fitbit.com/setup

i have just received a fitbit blaze as a gift I have connected to the phone app and however I can not update as its telling my the battery is low but the blaze has been in the charger for over an hour but when I put the blaze in to the charger I don't get a battery on the screen all I get is the fitbit.com/setup screen so I don't think it is charging ??

Until the fitbit completes the setup process all it will display on the screen is that setup message.

 

I would give it an hour or so on charge and then go through the setup, Once that's done you can complete the charge and by then you'll see the charging indicator.

 

If it complains about not enough charge then try charging it with a wall charger such as the one you use for your phone.

thanks I will give it a try just for your information on the app its still telling me that the battery is low

The app only knows the battery level during the last time the update was tried.
