I have been using the fitbit blaze since it came out. And it has suddenly going from saying I am burning the normal 2000 to 2220 calories a day to 4500 or more. When I woke up at 5 am this morning it already said 1700 calories.
I checke to make sure it didn't change my weight in my setttings and that was from me.
For reference, I am 5'4", 140 lbs, very fit female age 44. I normally burn about 60 calories an hour when doing nothing.
I just noticed that the active minutes is what appears to be messed up. I normally get 100 active minutes a day. The device has registered 1320 active minutes when all I did was sleep.

Hi there @angelrose1973. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
I'm sorry to hear that your tracker seems to be miscalculating your calories. Since you mention that your weight and your other personal information has not changed, I can probably recommend restarting your tracker. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.
After that, see how it works and if it's still calculating your calories wrong, you can try to set up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more help!

I’m having the same exact problem. Same activity as normal but has me burning roughly a thousand more calories than I normally do. Will reset and see if that helps
