Lost overboard

I received a new Blaze for my birthday in June. I had been using a flex for over a year hiking and sailing and was very excited about the new Blaze. I wore it in sailing competitions every Wednesday and even wore it on this years Chicago to Mackinac as well as the Port Huron to Mackinac races with no issue. After one Wednesday night race I got home and went to look at my watch and it was gone. I can only assume that during the rigors of racing it came off and went into Lake Michigan. While I know some people like the easy release to change the bands I'm afraid a line snagged the release on mine and the band parted. I need a solid connection from the unit to the band. I'm back to wearing my old Flex and a Timex Ironman for now while I contemplate another tracker.
