Hi, @Northern27! There's nothing to it, just add your Blaze to your existing account. You don't need to worry about losing any data, it stays with the account, not the tracker.

Make sure the Flex recently sync'ed to the account so the latest information is onto your account. When not using the Flex anymore, it can be removed from your Fitbit Account on the devices settings page in the Fitbit App for the phone.. this won't remove any data on your account.

When keep using the Flex (it's possible to add the Blaze to your account as you did with the Flex).. the Blaze will be added to your account. This won't remove any data from your account either..

With multiple tracking support, multiple trackers of different models can be linked to the account at once, so it's possible to choose the tracker you wish to wear and switch anytime. Though best to use one tracker at a time..

I am having trouble adding my blaze because my flex 2 is constantly trying to sync even thoughthe battery is dead

It's not the Flex 2 trying to sync, but the app trying to sync.
This sync happens whenever the app is first open. Your going to want to start up the app, leave the screen on. When the screen stops trying to the new tracker can be added
