Sync Blaze with Note 8 (input device only)

In syncing my Blaze with my new Note 8

1. Blaze Classic for the bluetooth device

2.  When it syncs, it is "connected as input device"

3.  Can not receive phone notifications or music options on Blaze.

 

How Can I get full functionality between phone and Blaze?

When you go to your phones Bluetooth settings, do you see both a Blaze classic and a Blaze? If you don't see a Blaze then you will not receive notifications. 

Is Fitbit notifications and always connected enabled? Do you get notifications on the phones lock screen? 20171213_141701.jpg

Is the device you are trying to sync to a supported device?

Blaze classic is only used as an input device to control music. You might also see a connected Blaze which is used for syncing and notifications. 

If you do see this then please remove it from Bluetooth, restart phone and tracker. Then try a sync again, it should pair up Blaze.

Yes, I have a Samsung Note 8. The link you gave me confirms that all
features should be compatible with the blaze.

I'm having the same problem except that this is how mine is set up. I cant even get mine to refresh right now.

Hi Juan, I'm no expert, but I was having trouble with syncing or refreshing
too. I uninstalled the app. Set my Bluetooth to forget the blaze and
turned both the phone and blaze off.

Then started over.

Downloaded the app to my phone.
(A lot of my problems with syncing notifications and such were corrected
within the app. 1. Click on the "account icon" top right of screen. 2.
Click on the blaze icon under devices section. 3. Set notification
preferences there.)

Paired using "Blaze" in the Bluetooth settings.

And everything was set to sync properly.

I've tried everything with my blaze n it wont connect to blaze ( says it is rejecting it) but connects to blaze classic n I cant do anything please help me!!!

Sorry @Mimi4345, let's follow directions and do the setup through the Fitbit app .The Blaze cannot be paired to the phone by the user .

You could also download your user manual ..

I tried these steps and I still do not receive text or phone call notifications on my Blaze. It syncs all my data, but no notifications. ☹️
