I have received several sync failures in the past, and all solve them selves pretty quickly, but this one has been different. It is saying "Sync Error".
I have tried a force stop, an uninstall and reinstall, and two-button reset on the fitbit, and a phone restart, none of these tricks seem to be working. Any other ideas?

I don't see any mention of trying a restart of the phone, better yet, if the phones Bluetooth isn't responding a complete power off of the phone will be needed.

Did that several times. Even unpaired and re-paired the phone sevedral times, it would re-pair after some long thinking, but after that pair it does not sync.
