Synchronizing data between devices

I regularly use a Fitbit One when I prefer to use a dress watch and my Blaze at other times. The Blaze tracks activities per hour such as steps. While the One does sync and the Blaze recognizes the total steps they are not allocated to my hourly activity goal. Since the One is able to track per hour, it seems like the time data could be passed to the Blaze to count toward my hourly goals.

The Fitbit One does not have the hourly activity, so there is nothing to pass on to the Blaze.

The Blaze does not calculate it post hour, it simply looks at the cirrent hour and says, did 250 steps hsppen? If so then incrememt the active hour count.

To be honest, i dont know if the time of steps is sent to the other tracker. This is not needed since the data already is on the Fitbit server, and on the tracker there isn't a way to review the day.

That is correct, the One does not have the hourly goal feature.

I think you're missing the point. When the steps are transferred from the one to The Blaze, the blaze should know the time the steps occurred and counted towards the hourly goal.

Are you sure that the minute detail data is transferred from the Ine to the Blaze? Or could it be just the step total.

Also what happens during the period when both trackers are worn, your steps are not doubled.

Your One does not track hourly totals, your Blaze counts them as they are recorded, not after the fact.

The only thing transferred is steps, not time.
