Syncing two trackers on the same account

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have 2 fitbits: Ionic and Blaze. My daughter wears blaze. I turned off her ability to sync with my phone. Then at another point I deleted the blaze from my account. My daughter let her battery run out, now she has the wrong time. I've tried to pair her device to my phone but now the blaze refuses to let the phone pair with my phone via Bluetooth.
Help please. Thanks in advance

Hi there @ccss74. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂

I'd like to give you a hand with this!

When it comes to having more than one tracker on the same account, it's for you to use both of the trackers (not meant to be shared with someone else) and you need to wear just one at a time. Having your daughter use one tracker without syncing will cause as it happened in this case, for the time to be off as it needs to sync to your phone in order to keep the time updated and also, if she's wearing it, whenever she syncs the tracker to your phone, it will mess up your stats as all the information will go to the same profile. It will not make a difference between you and her, so I would recommend that if she will be using one of the trackers, she needs to be syncing it to her own account and for having her own account she needs to be at least 13 years old.

Now, with that said, if you'd still like to sync her tracker to your account, you can try setting it up as a new device and if this has not worked, you can try to restart it. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot.

Once you reboot your tracker, try to set it up as a new device from the Fitbit app and not from the Bluetooth devices on your phone's settings. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

Hope this helps and anything else you may need, I'm here to help!
