Syncing with MyNetDiary?

Hi, I'm getting a little frustrated with all of this! I started syncing my "MyNetDiary" account with the Fitbit app as I found Fitbit to be inadequate with their food library. This merge is syncing calories burned/ workouts from both apps as well (which I'm okay with because I still use my Timex HRM as I find that it is more accurate... 😳)

My question is this - when I log workouts in both apps, is it somehow getting counted twice through Fitbit's overall calories burned? (Does that even make sense, feel like I'm going cross eyed.)

Hi @DGressette. Good to see you around! 🙂

I think I understand your question. As far as I understand per the description on the app details for MyNetDiary, it states the following:

"By connecting your MyNetDiary and Fitbit accounts, you'll see the whole picture of your food and exercise balance—including calories in and calories out. See your calories burned, steps and weight stats from Fitbit in MyNetDiary, and get all your MyNetDiary food information sent right to your Fitbit account."

So, I would say that it would be okay to log all your exercise, steps and weight stats on Fitbit and it will take it over to MND and all the logging you do when it comes to food information, do it on MND and it will transfer this over to Fitbit.

Hope this answers your question. Let me know if you need anything else 🙂
