When I am out running I use my iphone 8 strava app to track my run. When I set my blaze to the run feature I always get the message 'check fitbit app' why is this. I had preivously managed to get my route, etc showing on my fitibt dashboard

Hi @Magmur. Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂
Whenever you see this, it could be that you have closed the app on your phone and you need to have it running at least in the background to make sure that it will connect to your phone's GPS and track your route accurately. If you get this message, just open the Fitbit app, wait for it to connect and once it happens, you're good to go.
Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hmmm, got it @Magmur. Something else you can try is restarting your tracker if you haven't tried that.
You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Try to get it to connect and if that doesn't work, you can proceed with setting up your tracker as a new device. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and the GPS functionality should connect properly.
Let me know how it goes!
