Text notifications stopped working

I have a Fitbit Blaze and an LG V10.  When I first got it, it paired fine and I could use all the functions.  Now, text notifications have stopped working.  Not sure if this is an App issue or a firmware issue.

Anyone else having this problem?  I've read through posts and tried all the settings.  I get call notifications fine, but I really miss the text notifications.  It was the best thing about having a smart watch!

I heard what you said Rich.  I unpaired my App and ininstalled the Fitbit App.  Then I reinstalled Fitbit and re-paired the Blaze. Messaging notification works again!

I had tried changing the clock face, which someone else had said worked for them.  Did not work for me.

Thanks!

We almost ae sure ilthat it is not the Blaze, it wont hurt to do a two button restart or through the settings on the Blaze a shutdown.

As for the phone, what type is it. Notifacations require two devices, the Blze and the phone.

Since the calls come tgrough we can rule somethings out, and stick with the things specific to text . The messaging app, and the settings on the fitbit app. Maybe some os setting. Lets click on Help below and type in text.

Hello @MichAn, welcome to the Fitbit Community! I would like to confirm you are changing your clock face by selecting the one you want and then sync your tracker for the change to be applied. If you are doing this and your clock face is not showing on on your screen, you can also try selecting a different clock face than the one you are now and sync your Blaze to see if this works. If this works you just need to go back and select the clock face you wish to use. If after trying all this you are still having issues with your clock face some users have shared that setting up the tracker as new device helped them with the issue.@Rich_Laue thanks for your cooperation! 🙂
