Hi There,
I do understand the frustration but it never said that it could do those things. The device is very small. So small that I believe those features couldn't be added.
Can a keyboard fit on a blaze screen? Would the keyboard be bad looking and weigh the device down?
I would also love to see that feature be added in the future. Maybe try get in contact with Fitbit and just pose the question. Can't hurt so might as well do it..

@Momof4and2 Point taken.
Obviously Fitbit does allow the quick reply to texts, but they aren't as detailed as what some people need/would like it to be.
Here is a link to another forum. Go there and leave a like so hopefully Fitbit will see it and possibly even include it in the next update.

Just got the Blaze today and very disappointed. Defo missed the point of the blaze as it is designed with the look of a watch as opposed to a fitness tracker. The lack of phone features makes it a pointless venture for Fitbit as it's the same as the the other fitness watches Fitbit does at half it's price. It's a shame as it's only a few small changes that would make it good in both worlds. Thumbs down to the design team for this watch.
The cheap watch I had before this could do more with regards to being connected to a phone and made more use of those side buttons. a simple preset reply that you could write on the phone app surely not a lot to ask for. FFW and Rewind of music tracks on your phone using those barely used buttons on side whilst working out would have been good. Also can't stop incoming call from watch with screen or button. Still got to take phone out pocket when forgot to silence phone at meeting which is a weird omission by Fitbit.

@Firewifelfd. I'm sure they could. Please follow the link above and add your vote.. It is there that we may add our desires known to the developers.. The Blaze hardware forum is where we post our problems for the community of Fitbit users to help with.
@FatRoonie actually the Blaze came out 6 months before the the Charge 2 which BTW does not do everything that the Blaze does.. When the Blaze was released fitbit did not have any tracker that came close to it.. Touch screen. Color, connected GPS, Stopwatch, countdown timer, multitrack recording just to name a few.

Can we text on the Fitbit what is the point of having a texting pop up if you have to find your phone unlock it/open it , and text back what if your running and doing somthing and you can't get to your phone! Well you can't text on the Fitbit so you will have to get on your phone and text that person! I don't like it at all really disappointing

The point of notifications on this "tracker" is to see if you want to pull your phone out and answer or respond. As previously stated, it is a fitness tracker with some smartwatch like features and not a smartwatch. It was never advertised as such and those features were never promised at a later date. The fact that Fitbit bought Pebble is immaterial. It doesn't have Pebble's operating system. If you want a smartwatch don't buy a Blaze, pure and simple.

You don't need a keyboard to reply to text message all you need is preloaded messages like pebble watch has the very first generation smart watch it's so rookie attitude that Fitbit took regarding this matter totally disappointed

I had a Samsung fit gear 2 and you can use preset messages (that you can customize) to reply to calls and text and it runs for $179, but it broke today and I went to replace it. I have a lot of friends who have fitbits so I decided to get the blaze (not knowing it could not preform this function). Now I am kicking myself because the Samsung pro fit was the same exact price and at least with the Samsung pro fit you can reply to text and calls.

I agree if you can see messages I think if you can see messages you should be able to reply I hope they can try and get this in an update soon
