Third-Party Bands?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

With the Blaze's versatility of being a removable module, I'd really like to see some third party developers get creative with an assortment of different bands/frames, or maybe even different types of housing for the blaze (like something that's just a clip if you didn't want to wear it on your wrist). Did anyone see/hear of anything like this? The only accessories I can find right now are the ones made by Fitbit, which surprises me. I'd really like to find a canvas band, or one that has a frame that is some color other than silver (like black or gold).

There may be some 3rd party bands like they have for the Flex but nothing like what you can find for the AW. I'm guessing not many really either way though.

Not sure the money would be there. New bands maybe but doubt the new frames.

My thinking is that with 3D printing someone will have some type of clip on Etsey or Ebay. I've noticed there are clips for the One and Flex.

As for bands, any type of watch band of the right width will work, but the pin will not be as easy, but not impossable to change.

I keep checking eBay. They are usually first with that kind of stuff. Of course it'll be shipping from China and you'll be taking a gamble on quality. Also I just saw something on Amazon. It had a magnetic clasp. It looked masculine but you might want to check it out. Sorry I don't have the link handy but I just typed in Fitbit Blaze bands. Whoever the seller was only have 7 left.

I've already found several bands on Amazon.

Did you find ones other than the ones that fitbit released?

I noticed the third-party bands on Amazon today too. I personally won't order until Amazon is the shipper (easy returns)

Ok, now I'm seeing a few third-party bands popping up on Ebay and Amazon. Most of them are leather and one copies off of Apple's Milanese Loop (actually looks pretty awesome). Some of the leather ones are less than $10. The only downside is that they all appear to ship from China (about 3-4 weeks for shipping). And, of course, we can't be too sure of the quality.

I've just paid £7 for a decent black leather one from Leeds market. Saved a fortune. It was just a standard 22mm width and I've ordered the pin remover from Amazon.

Report back and let us know how you like it. Sizing etc. I have the large leather band. I could really use a "medium".

@Barbara_F Yes exactly... we will get it. I really am still getting used to the size of this thing.. and am hoping for some other bands made for women that are not as big and bulky....

@Rbrockport take a look at amazon under Fitbit Blaze replacement bands! you will have a bunch to choose from now. However, you will have to preorder some of them. But, they are there and they have  a bunch of new styles that are affordable.
