Hi there,
I hope you don't mind me asking but I am weighing up whether to buy a Fitbit Blaze. I have a long-term knee injury so impact (running) is out of the question. I use the gym 3-4 times a week, mostly using the cross-trainer and interval training on the bike coupled with core work (plank, stretches etc) and weights.
Would I get the most out of the Fitbit Blaze doing this type of fitness? From people's experiences, is the heart rate monitor accurate?
The calorie counter is also appealing to me - I assume you input the foods you eat and it works out the calorie intake? I cook from scratch a lot (Deliciousl Ella recipes). Would this be easy to input?
Thank you for taking the time to read this and any help/suggestions would be gratefully received!

For my needs I'd say that the HR monitor is "good enough." I've compared the HR readings on my Blaze (and my Charge HR before it) to the HR reported from my chest-strap based Polar and for the most part they were within 1-3 beats of each other. I do notice that when doing intervals, the FitBits take longer to register a fast change in HR intensity. Compared o my Charge HR, the Blaze HR readings don't drop out as often, but it will depending on how much I'm moving.
