Tracking Step Aerobics and Rebounding (Mini Trampolining) on Fitbit Blaze

Hi everyone 🙂

I have just received a Fitbit Blaze (the pink rose gold one! :)) for my birthday today.  After several hours I finally managed to synch and start it lol (I have Windows phone and laptop).
I did a step aerobics and then weights workout today but wasn't sure WHERE to track the stepping - I chose TREADMILL but it didn't record many calories or steps.
Would RUNNING be a better choice (ie for tracking not actually DOING!) 🙂

Hi @SandpiperMc. Great to see you in the Community Forums and congrats on your new Blaze! You're totally going to love it! 😄

There are some activities that may not fit in the categories that are already listed in the exercise shortcuts. For all those activities, I personally use the Workout option. This will be the best way to keep track of your activities and get the best data as for steps, calories burned, etc.

Hope you find this useful! Anything else you may need, let me know!

Thanks FitbitFerdinand - where do I find the Workout category please? So far I've only found Exercising which then just has Running, Cycling, Treadmill, Weights and Elliptical.

You can change which shortcuts show up on your Blaze in your Blaze settings! You can go under Exercise Shortcuts and change which shortcuts you have and the order they show up 🙂
