My Fitbit Blaze is not tracking my sleep correctly. Part of the night it shows that I am awake when I am actually sleeping. The total number of hours I have slept is not in sync with what appears on my Blaze.

I'm confused in that the Blaze is not able to display your sleep hours. This is computed in the cloud after the First sync after waking up.

Is your sleep set for normal or sensitive?

I tried both and it doesn't seem to make a difference. I know it isn't recording correctly. I have sleep apnea and use a CPAP machine which has a chip in it and tracks my sleep, including when I'm restless. I bought that chip from my machine with me to the doctors and we compared the information from the chip with the information on my Blaze and my Blaze readings were totally off.
One of the reasons I purchased the Fitbit blaze is to record my sleep patterns so I could track how I was doing between doctor visits.

My only thoughts are that while some have compared their Fitbit against a sleep lab and found then close. Your Fitbit only looks at arm motions and heart rate, it never was ment to replace a medical device.

I understand it's not a replacement for a medical device. I only want it to "record" the time I slept correctly and show when I am awake, sleeping or restless, as it is advertised to do and not stop recording during the night or early morning hours. I am wondering if I am doing something wrong or if my fit bit is defective. Do you know if there is a way to "reboot" it to see if might correct the problem?
Thank you for your comments
