swipe down on face, touch notifications "off"
when you are ready to reconnect swipe down, touch notifications "on"

You could go to the app, blaze settings, notifications, uncheck text

If you never want to see them then go to your Blaze settings - Notifications and uncheck messages.
If you just want to disable them for a while. swipe down on the Blaze Clock and turn notifications off.
This is explanedcin the User Manual and in the Fitbit help site.
