Turns itself on and off

My Blaze is a year and a half old and has been having so many problems the last few months. The left button doesn't work so I have to put it in the charger (that no longer clasps shut and has to be held shut to charge) to get out of any screen I go to. A few weeks after the button stopped working the actual rubber piece broke and fell off.

Today after charging it started turning itself on and off with the Fitbit logo being stuck on the screen. The few times it has stopped doing this, the screen says 'clock error', but it won't sync to my phone or computer to remove the error.

Nothing is working and I'm assuming it's a lost cause. Of course every issue starts after the warranty is up.

It's great to see you around @PunkyBreester.

Here are some steps you can try regarding the issues you have been experiencing:

  • Button not working, you may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button.
  • About the cradle, could you please provide me with a picture of it by following the instructions provided in this post?
  • Now the "clock face" error, please change your clock face by following the steps provided in the How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device? article. If the issue is directly with syncing, follow the steps in the Having trouble syncing? post.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Robot Happy

The clock face error has happened once again this week, but I was able to fix it. It will randomally keep going to the notifications screen (to turn them on and off, play music, etc.) and vibrate when it does so. It gets stuck there and I can’t  get to any other screen. It has done that 5 times in the last was week. One day it did it for over 12 hours and I couldn’t sleep with it on because of the vibration every few minutes. My battery was almost dead in the morning and it had a full charge earlier in the day. Another day it only didn’t it for a few hours.

The left button is completely broken. I tried the toothpick and air months ago and awhile later the rubber piece fell off rendering it useless.
