Underved badge awarded

Hi there,

Yesterday I earned the "Rollercoaster" badge for climbing 125 in a day.  The only problem is, I only climbed 81.  This takes from my incentive to strive towards the badge when I haven't really earned it.  Please help.  Photos attached.

Thank you.

Alison

Thank you so much for your feedback and for participating in our community.

Sincerely,

As you can see, this does nothing to help with the situation, in fact, it has lead me back to where I began.

Where now?

Kind regards

Alison

Hi Wendy

Thanks, I tried but the only drop down options offered to me on the link are United States, United Kingdom and India.  I am in Australia.

I would also be interested to know how and why this problem occurred.

Cheers

Alison

There is an option for email, phone, love connection through the web, and twitter.

Email will work fine just tell them what happened and that you would like the badges removed.

You could also send a direct Twitter with the same info but will need to add your fitbit email account.

I don't know what to say, fitbit support removed my 35K, 40K, 45K.......100K badges.. All 12 of them.

Maybe they can't remove stair badges

Hi again

I wrote back to Fitbit complaining of the generic nature of their response.  Here is what I have received.  For the record, I was and am running the most up to date version of the software, so am unsure why they have told me otherwise.  It seems though, that you are correct and stair badges cannot be removed.

Hello Alison,

Thank you for providing us with the email address that is associated to your Fitbit account.

Upon checking our system, we have confirmed that your Fitbit Blaze last synced a few minutes ago using  your iOS device with high battery level. We also noticed that your mobile app is currently running the outdated version. We highly recommend that you keep your app updated. The latest feature enhancements and product improvements are made through updates.

To update your Fitbit app, please go to this help article: How do I update the Fitbit app for iOS to a newer version? on this link: https://help.fitbit.com/ articles/en_US/Help_article/12 62

At the moment, you are only able to delete or remove from your Dashboard only weight Badges. We will forward your inquiry to our development team though so they can take this into consideration and see the need of deleting Badges earned by mistake or due to an error.

Please feel free to contact us back if you have any other questions so we can assist you further.

Sincerely,

Boots and the Fitbit Team
