Hello,
My fitbit was not worn and its battery died for about a week. I charged it back up and tried to wear it today and the date and time was wrong. It also had a hard time counting steps. I tried to turn my blutooth on and off and that did not help. I see that there an update that needs to be downloaded and that there has not been a sync in over a week. Whenever I try to sync it starts to try and then quits. What can I do to get my fitbit blaze to sync in order for date and time to be correct?

It might be worth trying a restart of your fitbit using this procedure:

It does much the same as rebooting a computer and can sort out all sorts of issues. However, it doesn't always work first time so give it a few tries.

If that doesn't help then I think the next step would be contact customer support to see if they can spot what's happening from the server side:
