I'm currently in a chat with FitBit. I am told that my FitBit Blaze that is less than a year old can not be replaced because I do not use their stupid app. Well FitBit, the app is not needed by me because I don't have a need to share my activity level with anyone. I also have a full display of my steps, heart rate, miles, etc. on the Blaze. So because I don't use your app, my FitBit can't be under warranty still. What kind of horse crap is this company? I said last year I'd never own another FitBit but it's now time to really move on. I have given your company multiple chances but you really don't give a care about your customers. Any suggestions from anyone out there on which exercise watch I should go with? I'm in the market for a good product that the company stands behind.

The lifeguard at my local pool had a FitBit and he switched to a Garmin, He said he liked it better. I'd check it out first to see if it has this many problems, but it's an option.

Update from FitBit, They tell me that my phone is not compatible with the app in order to sync. Well that's funny, I was able to sync to this phone when i first got the Blaze. But now all of a sudden it's not compatible. Now they want me to send in my broken FitBit before they send a new one. Um, no thanks then I have no proof of even having the FitBit still.

Sorry to hear that. This tracker seems to have many issues and I notice in this community all these issues are never addressed by anyone from Fitbit. I have some issues with my phone and other issues with my tablet. Some things work and others don't. Their attitude at Fitbit seems to be just go out and buy new stuff. Preferably very expensive iphone and ipad products. This will be my first Fitbit and my last Firbit.

Actually had the garmin vivofit hr, and to be honest, i thought the hardware and app was better, but fitbit is a lot easier

Without the.app. The time can not be setup, I would forget the Garmon it also needs an app to work.

My fitbit worked perfectly for fourteen months synchronised to my Samsung Galaxy J3 2016 then it stopped synchronising. I have tried for three weeks to sort the problem, several live chats with fitbit and Samsung all without success.

Interesting @Jungoes, if you dont want to use your Fitbit account, the fitbit app really doesn't do anything but transfer data from the tracker to your Fitbit account. The app then displays the data that has been saved in your Fitbit account.
The Blaze is totally useless without being setup, the setup process requires the Blaze to be connected to the users Fitbit account. Why buy a device that is advertised as an internet connected divice when one does not want it to be connected to the Internet and has no desire to see yesterday's stats.
As for warranty, you could send a copy of your receipt with the tracker serial number to fitbit. Normally Fitbit uses the day the tracker was first connected to the Fitbit account as the start of the warranty period. Bearing that the blaze has never been attached to a Fitbit account, the tracker has not had its clock setup yet, and should still have its setup message. The Fitbit software is needed to setthe tracker up and make it useable, the setup process will tell Fitbit that the tracker has been setup and start the warranty period .
Why buy a tracker with built in GPS, you say that you have a surge and the blaze was bought for the wife, that can separate the run/walk data from the days steps as well record the path of the run when the user only wants to see today's step totals. Five Below sells a tracker that will do all that you want for $5.

This will also be my first and last Fitbit. Their software is not well thought out and frankly very amateurish. Sync is unreliable and works sufficiently only through Bluetooth classic. Watch is not waterproof, charging is clumsy. I blame myself for buying based solely on reviews, they package and sell them in such a way you can't really try it. We need unbiased reviewers and a better way to buy (able to try). Too bad Pebble went away.

Your Blaze does not sync at all through Bluetooth Classic .which is only for music control on non ios phones.
No watch is waterproof, at some depth they all will fail.
As for unbiased reviews many magazines, bloggers, and youtubers have posted reviews. They even mention their promblems, what they would like to see, and complain about no GPS. Most even say for the non profesional athelete the Fitbit interface and apps are the best on the market, and state for the serious Runner Fitbit is not the way to go. for the casual Fitbit is perfect

still doesn't change anything, product is GARBAGE:
just so you know the problems:
My Surge:
1. Band peeling off body and eventually tore off the side weeks after warranty ran out - luckily i found a replacement on ebay - google the images of failed fit bit bands
2. Left upper button rattles and is loose
Wifes' Blaze
1. watch frozen with 3 fitbit logos on the main screen. 2-3 weeks outside warranty.
2. Customer service can't figure it out.. no dumb resetting can fix it.
wants to give me 25% off another piece of fitbit e-waste?
so in short NO i will NEVER buy their product. a 25% discount for both items after a year of use is an insult. did they even think that through?
Why would I gamble with more money that I WILL lose after spending more on devices that WILL fail again weeks outside warranty?
This review was paid for by me with my hard earned $500 down the drain wasted on fit whatever watches.

Yes this watch or whatever is pathetic. I bought it cuz of the hype. Wore it for a day out first time wearing, after 2 hrs my arm started tingling. I thought its nothing but then my hand started feeling heavy. After a while i realized it was the fitbit. I keep seeing two green pulses beeping underneath and it looks very scary. It shook me up and Im still a bit numb now. Came here to read community comments, lots other people are facing the same problem!!!
I need to call them. Anyone knows a phone number I didnt see it in google. Hope their return policy is good

After I owned a Blaze for more than one year I moved to Ionic since I was very happy with it. I passed the Blaze to my 15 years old and he is very happy about it with no problems whatsoever. Really happy about Fitbit software and service and my wife now is an happy versa owner while my 11 years old use an Ace.
(my personal opinion since you post yours).

As for returning the Blaze @Rusi without knowing where it was purchased or their return policy, we can't help you.
As for contacting Fitbit, yes Google will give you the number, so will the app Get Human. However this information may easily be found by tapping in the top right where your picture would be, or tapping on the link below for help scroll to the bottom of help, help, and the contact info may also be found through the Fitbit app.
As for those lights, they are simply pure visable LEDs and much safer then any other type of light you are exposed to. These are part of Fitbits Pure Pulse Heartrate Detection Heart Rate can easily be turned to off and the lights will no longer flash.
