Am I able to take the module out of the frame, stick it in a pocket and have it track at least steps? Or will that not work due to it being designed for wrist tracking?

@MikeS1971- thanks for that information. I am going to try that. Would you happen to know of a good way to track steps when biking. I know distance & time are but I still like to track y steps. I've read all sorts of conflicting info on that.

You can even stick the module in your sock and have it fully functional for heart rate monitoring.

Calories may be out though as the leg moves more than the arm when walking/running. I haven't got a clue what the calories associated with cylcling will look like compared to reality.
