Using the Fitbit Blaze while boxing

Hey there! I love my boxing classes, but I'm finding difficulty with my Blaze turning off early into the workout. I think it's because it "wakes" when I lift my arms and then the gloves hit the pause. Any thoughts or fix on this? Thanks!

You can turn the feature off clicking on the gray'd gear in the upper right of your internet dashboard, then the picture of your blaze and scroll to "quick view gester" tara.

Keep moving 🙂 Welcome to forums

To add to what @wmchapman suggested, I can also recommend taking a look at the suggestions that @EmersonFitbit gave on this other post  that you could find helpful. Click here to see it.

Hope this helps!

I sprang for a bigger band and wore it higher on my wrist. Kind of a clunky workaround but it works if you don't mind swapping out the band for heavybag or similar workouts.

I thought about doing just that and wearing it on my ankle!  thanks for the help!

thanks for the tip!  I will certainly try the non-dominant hand as well.  I have turned off the auto wake up and if all else fails, I'll look at the larger bands.
