VO2 Max body fat

Hello fellow Fitbitters,

My Fitbit Blaze tells me to lose 4kg in order to improve my Vo2 Max. I wonder if Fitbit takes fat percentage into account when calculating Vo2 Max. Because if i lose 4kg that will only be muscle mass.

My stats:

  • Female
  • 22 years old
  • 165 cm (5.4 ft)
  • 61kg (134 pounds)
  • 15,6% body fat

I hope someone can answer this question for me.

A warm welcome to the Community @Gillian94. As you mentioned, Fitbit takes the percentage of your stats depending on your age, height, weight and gender. My recommendation here is to follow this suggestion only if you want, if you feel that you are fine just like you are, don't worry.

Catch you later. Woman Happy
