Fitbit didn't sense high heart rate. I was in V tach. I knew my heart was racing...but my Fitbit only read 119..my heart rate was over 170. Yes i went to the ER.  Better now. Just dissapointed that it didn't help me out. I would of called 911 sooner.

Welcome to the forums @Roundtable

It's good you went to a health care professional. While these devices are good, they are not a substitute for the medical devices at a hospital.

My doctor says my Blaze is fairly accurate with my heart rate when I'm at his office. My reason for having the Blaze was more for the step counting.

Whatever you do, keep on stepping.

@Roundtable I'm really sorry to hear about your recent experience. I hope you're doing much better now. Note that your Fitbit Blaze is designed to provide meaningful data to help users reach health and fitness goals, and are not intended to be scientific or medical devices. I recommend you continue to consult with your physician regarding medical conditions or concerns, as they will be able to provide the best guidance for you.
