Viewing Today stats when in an Exercise mode

I upgraded to a Blaze from a Charge HR yesterday. With the Charge I could review my day's stats while in an Exercise mode. It took a lot of clicks but it was possible. With the Blaze, all I seem to be able to do is swipe up until the screen shows the current time, but otherwise the only data it shows is related to the current exercise. It would be great if I could get to the Today screen...

I'm hoping somebody will tell me that I'm missing something!

Many thanks

tom

The Blaze isn't capable of doing what you want. But it would be really nice if it did.

I agree. It seems such a retrograde step. And not being able to leave the exercise screen also means it's too easy for the exercise to be accidentally paused. This plus the problems with Connected GPS (under-recording distances and elevation etc) are pushing me towards only using the app for recording exercises.

I haven't seen problems with tyre GPS, it is usually within .2-of a mile with MMW, but then Google Maps, MMW, charity miles, the Fitbit App, Surge, and the connected GPS with the Blazs rarely agree.

I'm comparing it to tracking via MobileRun on the app which I used to do with the Charge HR. You'll see discussion of the issue elsewhere in the forum. For me the Connected GPS is regularly under shooting the distance by 10% or more. Elevation readings have been as much as 50% out.
