Nice to see you here @SunsetRunner, welcome! My apologies for the delay.
Thanks for posting your question about how to track sleep while charging your Fitbit Blaze. Basically, you need to use your Fitbit to track your sleep, you can find more information here: How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
I'd recommend, charging your Fitbit during dinner or in the afternoon when you're taking a break from your daily activities. Charging your Fitbit fully can take 1 to 2 hours. You will be ready by the time you want to go to bed.
Give it a try and keep me posted.
