Waterproofing Solution

How about some entrepreneur out there comes up with a waterproof housing, like you get for smart phones that will seal around the Blaze; and can be put on and taken off as required but retain functionality save for possibly the altimeter as locking out the water would prevent the air pressure effects to register. Just an idea. I might experiment with cling film on an old watch to see if it's viable.

Your notion interests me. If you can create a system that waterlroofs the Blaze™, that's great! I think you should approach Fitbit to get this idea to the public, if you choose to 🙂

This is a very well know company, they basically inject some water proffing compound into the device, making each unit inside water resistant.
Fitbit will not warranty these, and the altimeter is rendered useless so no stairs are counted.
