Waterproofing to allow swimming

This might seem like a bit of an irrelevant question given the way the Blaze works but is there a possibility of creating a waterproof band for the Blaze so that swimming may be a possibility in the near future? Also I'd like to know if you guys have any new features that are been worked on or have been completed for the blaze that may be issued in the next update which hopefully will come really soon? Features such as maybe some additional clock faces and perhaps the reminder to move alongside compatibility for third party messaging and social apps? Cheers!

As far as I can tell, fitbit isn't planning on making any of their watches waterproof any time soon. There is a small chance that in the next few years they make a new model that is waterproof, but it will lack a lot of features.

As for the update, they are most likely working on bug fixes to ensure proper functionalty of the trackers. It would be smart on their part to work on these issues before creating new features, so there is a good chance that we won't see many new features for quite a while.

Fitbit has several water resistant models, one of them is rated at 5ATM. The Flex, Charge, Charge HR, Surge, Blaze, Alta or all rated to withstand an accidental drop into shallow water.

As for swimmung, Fitbits are step based trackers, and you'll get no usable data when wearing for swimming.

Hello @AmaarA@fudge22 and @Rich_Laue! It's great to have you here. 🙂 The Feature Request board is the best place to make your voice heard our product developers review this board constantly to get ideas for future updates or products.  I was reviewing and found out ideas similar to what you are requesting:  Waterproof band/case for blaze,  More Watch Faces For BlazeReminder to move for Blaze and Tracker Notifications for More Apps. Vote and add your comments to each idea!

I'll be around if you have any question. 🙂
