Wifi option keeps disappearing on watch

So under settings, the wifi option keeps disappearing on my watch.  It's very sporatic.  I have to constantly turn off and on the watch, sometimes multiple times for the option to reappear.  Then when it does reappear and I get it paired up, go back to the clock screen, then immediately back to the settings option and it's GONE.....very frustrating.  Any suggestions.  I'm on v 17.8.200.3

I am having the same problem.    I have not figured out a solution yet.   Anyone else with ideas.

Very frustrating.   Just purchased it and it will stop syncing.   Ugh.

@jmattwood has your answer.

My question is, are you referring to the Classic Bluetooth used for music control? If you are hooked up to an iOS device then this option is not needed and i think it gets disabled.

I have the LG stylo 2 phone.  It connects only to the classic, not to the "Blaze".  But should it really matter since it's on the watch itself that keeps disappearing on?

Hey @jayhkr if I understand you correctly, the "Bluetooth classic" disappears from your watch, or appears sporadically - and this is what you are questioning?  If so , it's supposed to work like that -, once your phone's bluetooth is on, the Blaze automatically pairs with it and so the option disappears as it's no longer required for you to manually turn it on or pair it on your watch (dont worry your watch is connected).

If you were to turn the bluetooth off on your phone - then you would notice the "Bluetooth classic" appears on your watch (this is because it's not connected and needs something to pair to (e.g another device ipad etc), so it's giving you the option to turn it on/pair.  Test it and see - you'll notice the bluetooth classic option will appear on the blaze only when your phone's bluetooth is off.... It's not as sporadic as it may intially seem 😉 . Let me know if I have explained well enough.

So when you do not have the "bluetooth option" showing on the blaze - your fitbit app doesn't sync the number of steps etc with what is shown on the watch ?

The bluetooth option under the Blaze is for the Bluetooth Classic which is used to control music on the Android phone. This Bluetooth classic gets paired like a normal bluetooth device through the phones settings.
Bluetooth LE which is used to sync gets paired by the app. Is your Blaze connected to your fitbit account? It should show up on this page. Does the Blaze show being Connie ted on the phones BT screen? Ifthe blaze is connected to your account but doesn't sync then we can troubleshoot the sync problem.

Only thing paired on my phone's bluetooth is Blaze (Classic).  The link you gave me brings me to an error page so I'm unable to verify my fitbit account.  I just still find it odd that the option on my watch to connect the bluetooth keeps going away.  Thank you for the assistance!

No, my phone keeps saying "Blaze declined your pairing request".

@jayhkr are you trying to pair the blaze through the phone settings? This is wrong.

Download and install the fitbit app on the phone, log into your fitbit account. Does your Blaze show up, if yes then let it sync.. If no then menu, devices, add tracker, and follow the prompts.. Once the fitbit is connected to your account then the app will do the pairing process
