Will Blaze show map once synced?

I understand that the Blaze has Connected GPS which requires a phone nearby for actual GPS during activity.  But if I go for a run without my phone and come back to sync w/ my phone, will the app then show the map of my run?  Or do I have to have my phone with me during the activity for the map of my run in the app?

As you say @robadams777 the Blaze does not have its own GPS but uses the phones GPS, yes you will need the phone with you.
