Zigzag mapping fitbit blaze

Hi I'm using a fitbit blaze which is linked to my Samsung s6 for a run. When I finish my run and see the map it jumps from street to street or side to side. I'm not sure why. My friend has a fitbit blaze and their route is smooth and clear. Also, there's a 1 mile difference between both our finishing distances even though we run the same route. Any ideas why this is happening?

I have an S5 and find if i have more than one app running in the background or not enough free memory this zig-zag happens to me.
