Hey All
I only had my blaze for a couple weeks now but I have noticed when in workout mode my burn totals are a bit high. Today I walked for 35 minutes and it registered 347 calorie burn kinda odd. I compared them to my previous workouts logged into my fitness pal and there way off. Any suggestions?

@SunsetRunner A warm welcome to the Community! I believe that's the reason why you're seeing different totals because you're tracking exercises in MyFitnessPal and Fitbit. I was trying to log an exercise in MyFitnessPal and I got to the point where I should enter the name of the activities but it doesn't calculate the calories burned by itself. I should enter the calories burned.

I would recommend to use your tracker to track your exercises and just use MyFitnessPal in workouts where you can't use your Blaze such as swimming, boxing. You can learn more about it by checking How do I track my exercise and activities with Fitbit?  and How do I manually log or record an activity?

Hope this helps. Let me know how it goes.

Hello,

Thank you for your response. My fitbit isnt connected to MFP. I was going
by previously entered information in MFP and the rsults were much
different. When I log my activity the previous numbers differ since I
started using my blaze.

I'm having the same issue. My Blaze tells me that my one hour, 4 mile leisurely walk is burning 600 calories. There's no way that's correct. Thats what I burn on an hour of high intensity elliptical workouts. But it seems that the blaze is capturing my heart rate and steps properly, so I'm not sure what's going on.

I guess I just always need to make sure to not eat back much of my allotted exercise calories on days that I'm planning on using them to go out to eat, etc. Any way we can change the calibration of calories, mods? I didn't seem to have the crazy burn estimates with my Charge HR.
