I just received my Blaze today, but I can't set it up because there isn't enough charge. I have had it plugged into my computer for over an hour, but the charging symbol won't come up. It makes the sound when the computer registers the new device, but nothing happens on the fit bit.

Unfortunately the charging indicator will not show until the setup is complete. Give it a couple of hours on charge then go through the setup process. It should show the indicator after that. If it still says there's not enough charge then try a different power source such as a wall charger you use for your phone.

I am in the same boat. I've had mine plugged in to the charger for over an hour and the app still shows (Battery empty). No battery icon appears on the FitBit when it's in the cradle and connected via USB.

Same problem. Been on the charger for 2+ hours now and nothing but the intro screen.

I took your advice and connected mine to an outlet instead of the computer. I was able to get it to update and it is now fully charged. Thanks!

The app will stay at empty until you try to set up the tracker.
