Hi I got my second fitbit today after returning my first because it was stuck on setup mode and it will not charge in that stat . Anyone that have found a resolution for this issue ? I am about to destroy the **ahem** thing so thin is my patience rigth now . And it should not have been a issue . It is actual embarrassing that many people have this problem ....
And if I actual get a step closer to get the device to work it gets stuck in the update because again it will not charge before I get the update on it .
I bet I have to return this blaze too

The Blaze does charge while the fitbit.com/setup is displayed, it just does not tell you it is charging, and there is no way ro know if the battery is full.
If the app detected a low battery it would have told you to charge it before doing the firmware update.
When you say it gets stuck in the update, is there now a progress bar showing on the Blaze? Since the update has started the Blaze is allready connected to your account.
You don't mention what device you are using to update the Blaze, normally i would kill the app and start the update again. If using a phone put the Fitbit App in the background, or make sure the phones screen does not turn off. You could also use a different device to update the tracker, what has already been downloaded into the Blaze will not need to be downloaded again.
