pulse not working

I should have read all the concerns about the blaze before purchasing.

By pulse you mean heart rate? If this is the case, I recommend taking a look at this post, where you will be able to see some things that might be affecting this reading and some tips to improve it. Also, you can try to restart your Blaze.
