same calendar alert 1000 times

My Fitbit Blaze keeps showing me the same alert from my MacBook Pro's calendar. It feels like I have swiped right on this 1000 times but it still keeps coming back. Can anyone tell me how to stop this?

Try a restart. Sometimes doing it a few times helps.
