I had a fitbit blaze bought for me last year..Unfortunately it was 2nd hand sold as the person couldnt get on with it ...it appeard fine for a while but i soon notice that i had to shut down more functions to maintain battery life ..until today i had only used it as a watch and step monitor with the battery lasting approx 2 days max  ... I noticed later that it was totally dead ..it was charged yesterday ...i put it on charge and thought  there was a faint heated smell ...it did not restart ..it did not charge and  my phone would not find it  ..my daughter said the screen looked funny ....as i had no reciept due to it being second hand  i opened the case i noted a smell as if something had over heated ...I have now disposed off it just in case the battery catches fire

Clam down.  You got a second hand fitbit is what I gather. I could not read your entire post as you are Very frustrated.

Im really sorry But Buy Second hand and pay the price.  There is no warranty on this type of stuff. You have no reason to lash out Its on YOU

excuse me ...I  hope your retort is a typo and clam down is ment to be calm down  If you read my post very carefully .....I have not complained  I have not been rude i have only stated a fact ,and given advise , in fact i have read similar articles about fitbits smelling and causing burning ...I ACCEPTED  that it was second hand which I mentioned twice ...
