A days tracking not recorded Charge 5

After completing a 9.5 hrs walk my Charge 5 showed all the info on the screen, steps, calories burned, distance etc but no matter what I do it's not showing on the app after syncing it numerous times. The day before & the day after are showing which is really frustrating! I've tried all the fixes on the forums, cleared cache, forced stop, restarted my device, uninstalled then reinstalled the app but nothing seems to be working. Please could you advise me on what else I could try.

Thank you for sharing that you've been experiencing this inconvenience with your Charge 5. 

Unfortunately there is no option to recover lost data, but you can manually log an activity to recover your information. Let me know if you experienced this problem only once or if it's happening constantly with your Fitbit device. If you haven't done so already, please try restarting your Charge 5 again using the charging cable instead of the restart available on the device's settings, as described in this article. Then check if you continue to have the same problem. 

If you haven't done so already, please make sure to try the steps listed here below as well, as they have been useful for other users with similar problems: 

  1. Restart your device following these steps
  2. Please sync your device in the Fitbit app.
