Hi, for the past few weeks my charge 5 has stopped logging active minutes. Heart rate and pedometer seem to be working fine but I get no activity credit for walks/runs.

Hello @Cc9 and welcome to the Community.  Active zone minutes are awarded strictly by heart rate.  If you tap on your zone minute icon, then swipe to the left in the green area, you will see your zone minute heart rate graph.  You will see a dotted line where your fat burn zone starts.  Does you graph show that you should have zone minutes for these days?  Keep in mind, your heart rate zones will change if your resting heart rate changes.

This answer does not help.  I know how it is suppose to work....My charge 4 worked fine.  My new Charge 5 stopped accurately logging zone minutes after 2 days of wearing.   My heart rate is up but I don't get zone minutes.  I re set up my device and will see how it goes.  There are walks I do frequently so I know what kind of zone minutes should be logged.  I just walked 45 minutes up and down hills in SF to the farmers market.  I then walked home (45 min) with 2 large sort of heavy bags of food.  I walk pretty fast even with bags... when I got home the fitbit had logged 14 zone minutes.  the steps and heart rate seemed correct. I should be getting  at least 80 zone minutes for this 90+ minute walk.

I’ve been having the same

problem. My fat burn minutes won’t log. Only after I go over 135 will it log my minutes. It should start logging at 110. I co tact customer service and they yanked me around for like a week before sending g me a warranty replacement, which was just the same piece wrapped up and mailed back to me. It’s not working, and I want a refund. No more troubleshooting- it doesn’t work!
