I thought I’d ask again as no one from support can seem to help me before I ship my Charge 5 back today.
is there anyway to disable Active Zone minute notifications? I’ve worked with support for 3 days and they’re lost. So asking here one last time.
-DND mode does not stop them
-Focus exercise mode does not work
-disabling on all fitness activities does not work
-disabling heart zone mins does not work
-3 factory resets and all the above does not stop notifications while working out.
-changing active zone minutes goal does not work
also if you find this useful … like how? I can’t focus at all with my watch constantly buzzing …. Really disappointed in Fitbit and the support team as every single person even though you have an open ticket gives you the same information, and also false information not relevant to a charge 5 but to other devices.

Hello @Backugo
What a nightmare! I can’t stand the notifications either. I’m lucky in that when I switch them off on my Charge 5, they stay off.
All I did was set Heart Zone Notifications to off in the Settings on my tracker itself, and then off for Run too.
My Fitbit auto-recognizes my studio classes but has never notified of my Heart Zones during a class. I didn’t have to do any extra steps at all.
It sounds like yours might have a fault. If you can get them to give you a replacement it might be worth trying to see if it works normally…I hope you get a good one!

I tried those doesn’t work :(.
It’s active zone minutes, not heart zones. So like when I’m lifting weights my watch just goes crazy the whole time I am working out. Sending me “we’ll done” notifications with blue chevrons…. It’s the most annoying feature in the world.
2 days with my charge 5 my calories burned dropped to like 800 cause I can’t focus… today with my old Fitbit calories burned was just under 1900….

Ah, I see @Backugo.
I haven’t found a way to switch those off but I only get buzzed for 100 minutes or 150, 450 etc. When I’m doing weights I have Always On screen and I get the buzzing but not the visual interruption.
The rest of the time they turn up when I’m jogging or walking and I just ignore them.
Have you tried switching the vibrations to Normal (if they’re on Strong) to lessen the impact?
As far as I know there doesn’t seem to be a way to switch those notifications off completely. Sorry.

Yeah I’ve tried everything, the constant vibrations are extremely distracting for me and not needed even on “standard”.
looks like Fitbit is aiming for a specific market of customers and doesn’t want their products to be used by weight lifters anymore or even power lifters. I also don’t think anyone at Fitbit lifts weights if this is the direction they’re going in… kind of hilarious honestly. fitness trackers brought to you by no one who’s into fitness at all or lifts weights…. 👍😂😂
thanks for taking the time to try and help me @Wibby !!
