Additional downgrade to sleep tracking?

Starting yesterday my Fitbit sleep tracking is no longer showing REM, Light, Deep. It now only shows "Awake", "Restless" and "Asleep". This results in concluding that I only got 2h26m of sleep in 7.5 hours! WTF?

I was already adjusting to the change they made last month, now they really wrecked the main thing I really liked about my tracker. Boo!!!!

I figured out that because my Charge 5 didn't get appropriate data the last 2 nights that I got the simplified result. We'll see if that improves in the next couple of days.

Have you had a chance to try to edit your sleep log in the Fitbit app to see if there's additional tracked sleep data?

Every now & then, my Fitbit doesn't properly track my sleep start and/or wake times. When this happens, I edit my sleep log in the Fitbit app. To edit the sleep log:

• Tap on the Sleep duration tile on the Today page in the Fitbit app
• Tap on the 3 dots in the upper right and select Edit sleep
• The Edit sleep page will open. Tap on Edit on the right
• Enter the correct sleep times and tap on Save

It used to take a bit of time, about an hour or so, for the app to update all my sleep info, including score & sleep stages graph. After the sleep section was updated, I notice that it doesn't take as long for the app to update all the data.

Thank you for your help. As a log time fitbit user, the incomplete sleep tracking pops up from time to time. Sometimes toggling the sleep sensitivity will fix it.

What threw me off this time is, with the new sleep graphics, it looked radically different and wonky. Something to get used to, I guess.

Glad you got things figured out for now.

Yeah, the updated sleep section takes a bit of getting used to. I'm looking forward to seeing how the graphs will look when dark mode is available for the Fitbit app. Hopefully, it will make it a bit easier to see & read the graph.
