I have the Ionic and it is temperamental in monitoring my activity accurately because I have tattoos on both of my hands and arms. I've been waiting and hoping that there would be a fix to this, however after each release of trackers, I've found that reviews are saying the same thing about the inaccuracy of heart rate monitoring with tattoos.
Anyone able to advise if this tracker is worth buying if you have tattoos?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Hi, @FitnessPassion, welcome, I know the LED/sensor array has been changed since the IONIC but I do not know if the new design has overcome the Tattoo issue. I do not have any tattoos, I can only suggest you talk to your friends & family who may be in a position to lend you their Fitbit for a few minutes so you can see if it reliably displays your HR. It's not a question of inaccuracy, my understanding is the device depends on monitoring the change in colour with your heartbeat in the second skin layer which is inked in a tattoo.
I hope this helps.
Cheers

Thanks @Gr4ndp4
Seems as though the only option I have to do what you've suggested. I appreciate that the device is not at fault, and it is more the capability it has to read through my skin tone and tattoos.
Hopefully I'll be able to find a tracker that has both of these capabilities soon.
Thanks again. I appreciate you taking the time to respond to me.
