I would love it if the Charge 5 had the ability to add apps, which is something the Charge 4 had and I would love for it to come to the Charge 5

If you are asking about 3rd party apps, Google has been removing support on Fitbit devices and releasing new devices without support for 3rd party apps. Earlier this year, support for Pandora & Deezer apps were removed from the Sense 2 and Versa 3. 

If you are asking about apps like weather & maps designed for Fitbits, we haven't heard any news about if or when these would be added to the Charge 5. 

That said, there is a separate forum for product feedback and suggested features. You can check that out to add your vote & comments to the features you'd like to see added. Click here for: Fitbit Product Feedback
