Hi,

Many sports I play do not allow wearing anything on my wrists, or they may get damaged from the sport (field hockey).

Can we please have ankle (or any other convenient place) support?

It is important that the Fitbit be able to monitor my body during these sports as they make up 80% of my exercises.

Thanks

Though not officially recommended by Fitbit, some people have had success wearing just above ankle, particularly on treadmill when have to hold rail for balance preventing step detection there.  It should get step count right, and some say they also get good heart rate, though that seems to vary based on exact placement.  Generally they do this by buying a third-party band extender from Amazon or elsewhere.  I suppose it would also get GPS distance outside.  Also be sure to wear under sock so won't lose if comes loose.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Since the charge has a magnet in it I would worry about metal chair legs too. I once had a ankle bracket that was magnetic and sitting on a chair with metal legs made it come off.
